Bio
GNO is one of those shadow lurking torchbearers guiding his audience along the path. GNO is an acronym for Geometric Nubian Orator. GNO is a controversial, provocative, spiritual, and without a doubt, entertaining performance poet baptized in the African tradition of the village griot. He has a story to tell. Through his poetry, GNO addresses issues ranging from the tragic and profound history of the African in American. He tackles current day political and social issues in regards to the continuing, deliberate manipulation of the poor and uneducated. Although serious in nature, the GNO performance experience manages to find humor in the ironies of human thought and action. His work, dually stoic and humorous, reflects his knowledge of the conflicting, stereotypical/hypocritical realities of himself and others. His performance is not one to be missed by those who profess to seek a higher truth in the artistic realm of spoken word.
